Our Mission

Since 1969, Forest Grove Swim Club (FGSC) has provided a year-round competitive swimming program for youth across Forest Grove, Banks, Gaston, North Plains, and nearby communities. Our mission is to develop confident, capable swimmers and well-rounded individuals through structure, teamwork, and respect.

We are proud members of Oregon Swimming and USA Swimming, welcoming athletes of all abilities. Through our Fierce and Mighty Dragon spirit, we teach that the better the person, the better the athlete, and the better the swimmer.

Our Vision

Forest Grove Swim Club strives to build more than strong swimmers — we build a stronger community. We envision a program where diversity is celebrated, fairness is foundational, and every athlete feels welcome, respected, and supported.

We believe swimming should be challenging, positive, and rewarding — a journey that teaches personal responsibility, sportsmanship, and pride in being part of something greater than oneself. Our goal is to inspire lifelong growth, both in and out of the pool.

Family & Friends Team T-shirts

Hey All, Please use the following link to place an order for Family & Friends Team T-shirts. All orders are due by Sunday 11/9. https://forms.gle/BeCK1eXkh2m3AuB6A Cost: $20 per shirt for all youth sizes and adults sizes Small to XLarge $22 per shirt for Adult 2XL and Adult 3XL **Please note this is NOT your swimmers Team T-shirt. All swimmers will be given their Team T-shirt on 11/15 at our Team Pictures. These are for any interested parents, family or friends that are interested in a Team T.

November Calendar with Important Dates, including Fri 10/31

FYI: All Friday 10/31 practices are cancelled. The facility will be closing early that day, we will not be holding practices. Water Polo Games will come to an end this week. All groups will return to regular practices, meaning we will be swimming on Wednesday's beginning Wed 11/5. November Team Calendar The above link is our November Team Calendar with important dates & practice changes. Please note the following dates listed below: 11/1 -- Sr. Elite & Gold will swim 7:30-9:00am -- Coach Laura is at the PAC Meet & Coach Mariah will be Coaching all groups. 11/1 -- PreComp 1, PreComp 2 & Bronze will swim 8:15-9:00am 11/15 -- Team Picutres 8:00am. Please be on time. All swimmers will be given a NEW Team T-shirt 11/15 -- Sr. Elite & Gold will swim 6:00-7:30am. All other groups will be cancelled due to Team Pictures 11/22 -- Sr. Elite & Gold will swim 7:30-9:00am -- Coach Laura is at the Mesa Meet & Coach Mariah will be Coaching all groups. 11/22 -- PreComp 1, PreComp 2 & Bronze will swim 8:15-9:00am 11/27, 11/28 & 11-29 -- All practices Canceled -- Happy Thanksgiving, enjoy the 3 day break! November Coaches Corner -- Nutrition -- This is ALWAYS a re-occuring topic of conversation on deck with coaches and swimmers. Please share with your swimmer. Talk about the importance of fueling thier bodies. Remind them Breakfast is super important, we know mornings are hard, we know mornings are rushed and we know the kids say they are not hungry. Remind them while sleeping thier bodies are hard at work and it needs to be refueled for a successful day! Have a Plan!! Friendly reminder: this info is posted on our team website under News.
